NEW YEAR, NEW TEAM, NEW START
2014 was a bit of a change for me.
A WHITE CHRISTMAS | via Norway
I ended up spending almost three weeks in Norway over Christmas and New Year.
A wrecked wheel, two dead tyres, three bust tubes, and one crazy day
You have no idea where you are. Getting cold. Starting to rain. Punctured and riding on the rim. You're heading for the nearest house and hoping they have a phone to call for help. Normal ending to a sportive?
Home is where the heart is
Sometimes you don't appreciate what is on your doorstep.
Two weeks. one van.
IT’S BETTER THE SECOND TIME
This was my second trip to Norway, just three weeks since the last.
Crack my nuts and then I’m away.
Racing XC is where it started for me when it comes down to riding single speed.
Into Fred and Beyond
Rear wheel looking up. Arms cramping. No chance of stopping. Descending Wrynose Pass at 100miles in - and I wasn't anywhere near the KOM. Disappointing.
The winter hadn’t been so kind. Lots of traveling with work meant an inevitable lack of riding, but I was still lucky enough to get out running while being away.
